About Doing Well While Doing Good®
More than an award — a movement that celebrates business leaders who prove that success and social impact go hand in hand.
Our Mission
To empower, celebrate, and connect business owners who demonstrate that doing well in business and doing good in the community are inseparable. We amplify the stories of leaders who use their entrepreneurial success as a force for positive change, inspiring others to build businesses that matter.
Our Vision
A world where every business measures success not only by revenue but by the lives it touches. We envision a thriving ecosystem of purpose-driven enterprises that uplift communities, create equitable opportunities, and drive sustainable growth for generations to come.
Beatrice Louissaint

Beatrice Louissaint is a Haitian-American visionary who has spent over three decades at the intersection of business success and community transformation in South Florida. A graduate of Barry University, she has built a career defined by opening doors for underrepresented entrepreneurs and proving that economic growth and social impact are inseparable.
As a longtime leader in minority supplier development, Beatrice helped connect minority-owned firms to billions of dollars in corporate procurement opportunities, supporting over 80,000 jobs across Florida. Under her guidance, more than 75 certified minority businesses grew to generate over $50 million annually, with ten surpassing $500 million in revenue.
Her impact extends far beyond business. Beatrice founded the Haitian American Women's Coalition and organized the region's first Haitian Conference in English. In 1990, she initiated the first organized effort to establish a Haitian community center in Miami, and in 1992 she produced Miami's first Haitian TV show in English on WLRN. She was a founding member of Dade County Public School's Project HOPE Drug Prevention Program and has served as President of the Little Haiti Optimist Club, championing youth, education, and neighborhood revitalization.
Her service includes volunteering with the Orange Bowl Committee, The Links Inc. (Miami-Biscayne Bay Chapter), and the South Florida Super Bowl XLIV Host Committee. She serves as a trustee of the Bayside Minority Foundation. In 2003, the South Florida Business Journal recognized her as a “Business Woman of the Year Award” finalist.
Recognizing that countless business owners were quietly making extraordinary contributions to their communities, Beatrice created Doing Well While Doing Good® to give these changemakers the recognition and platform they deserve. Today, she runs the program independently, expanding its reach and deepening its impact across the nation.
